// Compiled by Galina V. Epifanova (Галина В. Епифанова); edited by Margarita K. Meniailenko (Маргарита К. Меняйленко); translated into English by Mara Klestoff (Мария С. Клестова). Moscow, San Francisco: Museum of Russian Culture, 2021. -106 P.

For the first time collected in one publication is a wide spectrum of excerpts from reminiscences of Russian post-revolution emigres about Emperor Nicholas II – his immediate circle, military leaders, foreign diplomats, contemporaries. Also presented are research by historians from the Russian Diaspora, fragments from the published diaries and correspondence of Nicholas II, as well as publications of the Union of Adherents to the Memory of the Tsar in different countries. They reflect the most significant episodes of the rule of Nicholas II, his spiritual character, principles of power, his understanding of duty and service.

The included photographs, illustrations and postcards from the collection of the Museum of Russian Culture in San Francisco recreate for the reader an image of the era.

The documents preserved at the Museum of Russian Culture in San Francisco are predominantly devoted to the Blessed memory of Nicholas II.

The book includes detailed descriptions of illustrations, a bibliography, chronology of events and a translation into English.
