Russian First Lady Svetlana Medvedeva visits the Museum of Russian Culture

On June 23, 2010, the First Lady of the Russian Federation, Svetlana Medvedeva, visited the Russian Center of San Francisco and the Museum of Russian Culture. The visit was part of a larger trip to the USA by President Dmitry Medvedev and his wife.

During her tour of the museum Svetlana Medvedeva was captivated by the transformation of the Russian coat of arms during the course of the Revolution as well as by the orders and medals awarded prior to the Revolution. She was also given an overview of the history of the Russian diaspora in San Francisco and was shown several unique photographs concerning Russian emigrants in Eastern Asia.
